The Product Owner (or PO) is a person or company that will offer its product or service on the US MRKT digital platform. The intent of US MRKT is to roll out a wide variety of products and services that will appeal to all consumers. Initially, US MRKT intends to focus on a core group of products that will include real estate (houses for sale in Florida), real estate funds that own and rent resort-style homes in Orlando, translation services, jewelry and watches, auto parts, and photographs.
Each PO will enter into an agreement with US MRKT that sets the commission earned for each transaction, and a schedule of social media content that the PO will provide to US MRKT on a daily basis (two times per day – in the AM and PM). It is that social media content that will be distributed via push notifications to the SA network that has selected the PO, and whose postings will be distributed by those interested SAs. The agreement also calls for the PO to produce training materials for the SAs that will include videos and written materials about the product, with tips on how to promote the product. The PO will also agree to participate in regularly-scheduled training sessions designed to motivate the SAs and encourage them to engage with their followers in order to produce leads.
Each PO will designate a person or department within their own organization that will receive notification of leads generated from the SA network. The SA uses the US MRKT CRM by entering the name and contact information as a lead, which upon submission generates a notification to the PO representative, who promptly contacts the lead with the information on the specific product or service that the prospective customer is interested in. Later on, I will post on a different kind of PO, related to re-seller websites, and how SAs can generate commissions by promoting those sites.
