The Sales Associate (SA) can earn commissions by generating leads and forwarding those to the Product Owner (PO). Generally speaking, the SA will need to wait for a lead to convert to a customer, meaning that a transaction is concluded with a payment made. Within days, the agreed-upon commission will be paid to the SA.
Upon becoming a SA with access to the PO listings, the SA will select the product or service that he/she wants to promote. Each product has a different commission structure and it is listed as part of the product description, terms and conditions.
Generally speaking, the sales price determines the level of commission offered. By way of example, selling a home for USD $350,000 will generate a commission of USD $7,500. The sale of a retail product for USD $75 will generate a commission of USD $5. The sale of a more expensive retail product (USD $750) will generate a commission of USD $55. Of course, it will be easier to generate multiple sales of the cheaper retail product, and the SA should be able to generate multiple sales on a regular basis with consistent postings.
